Ukrainian entrepreneurs are increasingly taking advantage of the state compensation program, which allows them to get back 15% of the cost when purchasing industrial equipment and machinery manufactured in Ukraine. In March of this year, businesses invested in 41 units of such equipment for a total of 125.1 million UAH, which is 52% more compared to the same period last year. Accordingly, the state compensates entrepreneurs with 15.6 million UAH.

Demand for Ukrainian equipment is rising
Since the beginning of the current phase of the program, which started in December 2025, Ukrainian manufacturers have already sold 94 units of equipment worth over 291 million UAH. The highest compensation has been allocated for the purchase of buses, truck cranes, tank cars for petroleum products, semi-trailers (including container carriers, low-loader platforms, and tankers), bridge cranes, elevators, loaders, and metal laser cutting machines.
The most active in updating their technology parks are enterprises in the Kyiv region — they have purchased 31 units of equipment. In second place is Volyn with 9 units, while Kirovohrad and Chernihiv regions each acquired 7 units of equipment.
Conditions for receiving compensation and participating in the program
The state support program applies to equipment with a localization level of at least 40%, which is included in a special state list. Currently, there are over 500 items of equipment from 34 Ukrainian factories on this list. To receive compensation, the buyer must choose equipment from the list, purchase it through one of 29 authorized partner banks, and then submit an application to the bank along with a copy of the payment document and the acceptance transfer act. After reviewing the application, 15% of the equipment cost (excluding VAT) will be transferred to the buyer’s bank account.

Manufacturers wishing to join the program must submit an electronic application to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. This application must include documents confirming the localization of production, cost calculation, and other accompanying materials according to government resolution No. 952.
