The government of Georgia has decided to extend the duration of free medical services for Ukrainian citizens who are forcibly residing in the country. According to the decree signed by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, Ukrainian refugees will have the opportunity to access free medical assistance until April 1, 2026.

Available Medical Services for Ukrainians in Georgia
A wide range of free services is available for Ukrainian refugees, including:
- immunization,
- treatment for tuberculosis, HIV, and AIDS,
- maternal and child healthcare,
- psychiatric support,
- diabetes treatment,
- dialysis,
- assistance for rare diseases and ongoing replacement therapy.

Conditions for Receiving Medical Assistance
Ukrainians who are permanently residing in Georgia have the right to free medical services. This status is maintained even during short trips outside the country, as long as they do not exceed three days. These benefits allow Ukrainian refugees to receive necessary medical support on par with Georgian citizens, which is an important step in ensuring their social protection.
