Over the weekend, significant changes in the dollar rate were observed at Ukrainian exchange offices. As of Monday, May 5, the average dollar rate was 40.75 UAH for buying and 41.55 UAH for selling, which is 22 kopecks lower for buying and 2 kopecks lower for selling compared to the figures from the evening of Friday, May 2.

At the same time, the rate in banks remained unchanged. Cash dollars in financial institutions are offered at average rates of 41.3 UAH for buying and 41.9 UAH for selling. Major banks, in particular, sell currency at prices ranging from 41.77 to 42 UAH:
