Dollar and Euro Rates in Banks and Exchange Offices

Today, the exchange rate for the US dollar in most bank branches and exchange offices will fluctuate within the range of: buying from 42.00 to 42.20 hryvnias per dollar, and selling from 42.35 to 42.65 hryvnias. This forecast was provided by analyst Oleksiy Kozyrev.

Regarding the euro, it is expected that the buying rate will be from 49.10 to 49.65 hryvnias, while the selling rate will be from 49.75 to 50.10 hryvnias. High demand for the currency supports these quotes, and according to experts, exchange office owners have no reason to lower prices for both the dollar and the euro.

Spread Between Buying and Selling Currency

In the current conditions, where demand for foreign currency remains elevated, financial institutions set certain limits on the difference between the buying and selling rates (spread). Thus, for the dollar, this indicator will fluctuate within 20–30 kopecks, while for the euro, it will range from 20 to 40 kopecks.

“As throughout last week, due to high exchange rate risks, exchange office owners will set the spread between buying and selling currency today within the following limits: for the dollar – 20-30 kopecks, and for the euro – within 20-40 kopecks,” noted the analyst.

Thus, the currency market in Ukraine is currently characterized by relative stability, and the rates for the dollar and euro remain within the ranges predicted by analysts.
