The digitization of employment records is not mandatory for working retirees. All information about their work experience, which was taken into account before the pension was granted, is already contained in the databases of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Therefore, there is no need for this category of citizens to additionally digitize their paper employment records.

Automatic Pension Recalculation
Pension recalculation for working retirees is carried out automatically every two years of employment. The necessary information for this is already available in the registers of the Pension Fund, so retirees do not need to take any additional actions regarding the digitization of their employment records.
Retirees Who Have Completed Their Employment
Retirees who are no longer working and do not plan to recalculate their pension are also not required to digitize their employment records. This rule applies in cases where the pension has been granted and all periods of work experience have been correctly accounted for.
However, retirees have the opportunity to personally verify whether all stages of their employment have been entered into the electronic system of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
If a retiree has doubts about the reflection of certain periods of work, it is recommended to use electronic services to verify the data.
Both retirees and individuals who are not yet receiving a pension can check whether their employment records have been digitized. To do this, they need to log into their personal account on the electronic services portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Here, they can ensure that all periods of work experience are accounted for and, if necessary, contact for clarification.
