“We discussed the continuation of military support and direct investments in the Ukrainian defense industry. Denmark is one of the leaders in supporting our country and is preparing the 26th military aid package for Ukraine,” the president stated.
Zelensky also noted that the meeting included discussions about negotiations in Istanbul, as well as the coordination of diplomatic efforts with the United States and European partners. The president emphasized that Ukraine and Denmark share a common vision that pressure on Russia is important in case it refuses to ceasefire.
“In July of this year, Denmark will assume the presidency of the EU Council. We are counting on support for European integration,” Zelensky added.
