Context and Public Resonance

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, martial law has been in effect in the country, and a general mobilization has been announced, the terms of which are regularly extended by the Verkhovna Rada. Reports of conflicts between TRC employees and citizens during mobilization activities have repeatedly surfaced in the information space.

Ukrainian military personnel and government representatives emphasize that the spread of negative information regarding the mobilization campaign is often the result of information-psychological operations organized by the Russian Federation to destabilize the situation in the country.
