Dollar and Euro Rates in Ukrainian Banks
On Friday, the exchange rate of the US dollar against the hryvnia in banks decreased by 14 kopecks, now standing at 42.43 hryvnias per dollar. For those wishing to sell dollars in banks, the average rate is 42.00 hrynias per dollar.
In contrast, the euro showed an increase. The average euro to hryvnia exchange rate rose by 20 kopecks and currently stands at 49.80 hryvnias per euro. The average selling rate for the European currency in banks is 49.20 hryvnias per euro.
Currency Rates in Exchange Offices
In exchange offices across Ukraine, the average cost of the dollar in the morning is 42.35 hrynias per dollar, while the selling rate for the dollar is 42.25 hrynias. Regarding the euro, its average rate in exchange offices is 49.80 hrynias per euro, with a selling rate of 49.58 hrynias per euro.
“The dollar can be sold at an average rate of 42.00 UAH, and the euro at 49.20 UAH”.
Thus, in the currency market of Ukraine in December 2025, there remains slight volatility in the rates of the dollar and euro, which is important for those planning to buy or sell foreign currency.
