Bitcoin ETFs in the US Show Inflows, Ethereum ETFs Record Outflows

On September 3, 2025, spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US ended the trading session with a significant influx of investments, while Ethereum-based funds recorded further outflows. The total capital inflow into Bitcoin ETFs exceeded $301 million, while $38.24 million was withdrawn from Ethereum ETFs.

Details on Capital Dynamics in Bitcoin ETFs

The influx of funding in the Bitcoin ETF sector has been noted for the second consecutive day. Overall, during this period, the funds attracted $634.08 million. The largest contributions came from the following products:

  • IBIT — $289.84 million;
  • BTC — $28.83 million;
  • FBTC — $9.26 million;
  • BRRR — $790,880.

At the same time, the ARKB fund recorded a capital outflow of $27.9 million. No significant changes were observed in other funds.

Trends in the Ethereum ETF Market

In the spot Ethereum ETF segment, the situation remains negative for the third consecutive day. The total outflow during this period amounted to $338.25 million. The main outflow was noted in the ETHA fund — $151.39 million, which exceeded the inflows in three other products:

  • FETH — $65.78 million;
  • ETH — $26.55 million;
  • ETHW — $20.81 million.

In the Hong Kong market, no significant changes in capital flows have been recorded for either Bitcoin ETFs or Ethereum ETFs. This trend indicates investor caution ahead of the announcement of the US Federal Reserve’s decision on the interest rate, which may have a significant impact on the cryptocurrency market.
