Details of the Attack and Its Consequences

According to information obtained from open sources, this oil depot has been struck multiple times throughout the period of full-scale aggression. As a result of numerous attacks by Ukrainian forces, more than 20 fuel tanks at this facility have completely burned down.

On April 23, a correspondent from one of the projects operating in Crimea reported a large fire that broke out following a drone attack on the Feodosia oil transshipment complex.

“Black smoke is blowing towards the sea, and the road near the oil depot and bus station is once again closed.”

Response of the Occupying Authorities and the Situation in Crimea

The authorities in Feodosia, controlled by Russia, confirmed the closure of traffic in the area of the oil depot, without disclosing the reasons for such measures. At the same time, the occupying administration of Crimea has not released any official information about the consequences of the strike on April 23.

Since 2022, the territory of the occupied Crimean Peninsula has been subjected to drone and missile attacks almost daily. In most cases, the Russian Ministry of Defense or other Russian official structures refuse to confirm hits on military or strategic facilities, even when such facts can be verified by independent sources.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are carrying out systematic actions aimed at weakening the combat potential of the Russian military and forcing the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.
