Development of Anime ID
One of the key initiatives will be the creation of Anime ID — a decentralized identifier developed by San FranTokyo, a participant in the Anime Foundation. This solution will allow Soneium partners to issue and verify users’ digital data, enhancing the security and convenience of verification.
Integration of Moca Network Tools
Additionally, Moca Network plans to integrate its suite of tools for accounts, identification, and reputation (AIR SDK) into the Soneium blockchain. This will enable users to store unique digital identifiers, manage accounts, and utilize them across various applications on the Soneium platform.
Furthermore, in collaboration with Animoca Brands, San FranTokyo is launching anime campaigns on the Soneium blockchain to attract new anime fans to the crypto space.
Co-founder and Chairman of Animoca Brands, Yat Siu, emphasized the importance of this partnership:
“The integration of Moca Network’s identification infrastructure will create a cohesive digital ecosystem, allowing Soneium users to have a single digital identity that unites anime, gaming, and blockchain technologies.”
It is worth noting that in April 2024, media reports indicated that Animoca Brands holds crypto assets worth $558 million.
