The head of the President’s Office reported on the existence of conditions for ending hostilities, noting that the negotiation process with Russia continues, albeit outside the public sphere. This was stated by Kyrylo Budanov during the international forum “Security Architecture.”

Negotiations are ongoing, there are chances for ending the war
According to Budanov, work on a peaceful settlement is actively underway, and the process has not reached a deadlock. He confirmed that he received a clear instruction from President Volodymyr Zelensky — to focus on ending the war in the shortest possible time, particularly before the onset of winter.
Budanov described this task as “correct, timely, and well thought out” and emphasized personal responsibility for its execution. The head of the President’s Office is convinced that Ukraine possesses the necessary resources and capabilities to achieve this goal.
“If Russia refuses to finalize — that could also happen, don’t forget — well, that could also happen. However, there are now real signs that the groundwork for ending hostilities already exists,” Budanov assured.
Visits from international partners and the situation at the front
Kyrylo Budanov also reported that visits from representatives of the USA to Ukraine and Russia are planned in the near future, emphasizing Ukraine’s important role in negotiations regarding conflict resolution.
Meanwhile, the former so-called “minister of defense” of the self-proclaimed “DPR” Igor Girkin expressed the opinion that Ukrainian forces may begin an offensive in the southern direction of the front. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already attempting to cut the so-called “land bridge” to occupied Crimea.
