Starting from April 1, 2026, the Pension Fund of Ukraine will conduct an automatic recalculation of pensions for a specific category of working pensioners. The changes will affect those citizens who have officially worked after their pension was assigned or previously recalculated and have at least 24 months of insurance experience as of March 1, 2026. The recalculation will also be carried out for those who have worked less than 24 months but have had two years since the last recalculation.

Conditions for Automatic Pension Recalculation
Pensioners who have acquired 24 months of insurance experience after the assignment or previous recalculation of their pension by March 1, 2026, will have their payments recalculated based on the acquired experience. In this case, the pension amount may be determined either from the previously considered earnings or, if more beneficial, from the new earnings obtained after the last recalculation.
“Pensioners who continued to work after the assignment / previous recalculation of their pension and have acquired 24 months of insurance experience by March 1, 2026, as well as pensioners who have acquired less than 24 months of insurance experience but two years have passed since the assignment / previous recalculation of their pension, will have their pensions automatically recalculated starting from April 1”
Details for Those Who Worked Less Than Two Years
For pensioners who have less than 24 months of insurance experience as of March 1, 2026, after the assignment or previous recalculation of their pension, the recalculation will take place no earlier than two years after the last recalculation or assignment. In this case, only the additional insurance experience will be taken into account, and the earnings received during this period will not be considered in the new pension calculation.
As of March 25, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has already allocated 74.7 billion hryvnias for pension payments for the current month, indicating timely fulfillment of social obligations to citizens.
