Levels of state support and required scores
The state offers two levels of grants for applicants:
- First-level grant — 17,000 hryvnias. This grant is available to those who score at least 150 points in two subjects of the NMT. For specialties with special support, it is sufficient to have 140 points in two subjects. At the same time, the first-level grant is not available for a number of specialties, including management, marketing, journalism, and some others.
- Second-level grant — 25,000 hryvnias. It is intended for applicants who have scored at least 170 points in two subjects. Depending on the specialty, a multiplier may apply — in such cases, the grant amount increases to 37,500 hryvnias for priority fields of study for the economy.
Number of grant recipients and specifics of allocation
According to preliminary estimates, in 2025, up to 30,000 applicants recommended for contract-based study will be able to benefit from state grant support. The final number of students receiving grants will be known after the enrollment process is completed — on September 1.
“According to preliminary estimates, up to 30,000 entrants who received recommendations for contract places will have a state grant this year. The exact number of such students will be known after enrollment — on September 1.”
It is worth noting that the grant amount and score requirements may vary depending on the chosen specialty — for priority fields, the state offers additional incentives in the form of increased payments.
