Famous Ukrainian actor and military officer Volodymyr Rashchuk announced the end of his marriage to actress Victoria Bilan-Rashchuk. The renowned couple, who had been together for about 11 years, became parents to their son Yarema just six months ago.

Divorce after a long relationship
The star of the series “Border Guards” openly discussed his personal changes during an interview for the YouTube channel “KinoUA.” According to Rashchuk, his personal life has captured public interest, and he decided not to hide the truth about the breakup with his wife. The actor emphasized that the decision to divorce was mutual, and the most important thing for both of them is their son’s happiness.
“I don’t like to air my personal life in public, but it has happened that it’s impossible to hide this in our profession. People thrive on gossip when they don’t know the truth, so I suppose I have to say: yes, we are not together. We have separated. I don’t know… Certain reassessments have occurred in life: whether I have become more mature, or I have started to think more about myself, about what I really want… I don’t know if this is related to the war or not. So we made the decision to part ways; we are not together, but we have a son. And that is the most important thing. I consider this the conclusion of our relationship, the most significant indicator. And the fact that people part ways — that happens. I want one thing: for everyone to be happy — both Vika and I. We deserve that,” said Volodymyr.
He also emphasized that problems in the relationship began to arise during his wife’s pregnancy. The actor from the series “Kakhovka Object” admitted that he is now in a new relationship. “I have fallen in love. Some say I’m a traitor, but walk in my shoes, live my life, and then you can judge and tell others how to live,” Rashchuk added.
Son becomes the actor’s main priority
Rashchuk stressed that his son Yarema is the most important thing in his life. He tries to spend as much time as possible with the boy when his service and filming allow. Yarema is the actor’s first biological child, as he previously raised Victoria’s daughter from a previous relationship, who even took his last name and patronymic.
The military also confessed that it did not happen right away for him and Victoria to become parents: “It took a long time. This is truly a gift from fate.”
After the divorce, Victoria hinted that she has her own version of events. She noted that she had remained silent for a long time, but is now ready to share her truth.
Volodymyr Rashchuk emphasized that life circumstances change, and relationships can also come to an end. But for him, the main thing is his son’s well-being and family harmony, regardless of family status.
