Tender winner and audit funding
As a result of the competitive selection, the winner is Baker Tilly Ukraine LLC — one of the leading auditing and consulting firms that is part of the global network Baker Tilly International. The payment for the auditors’ services will be made from grants and funds from international partners. Thanks to the competitive procedure, it was possible to reduce the cost of auditing services by nearly 40% compared to the initially planned amount.
“It is emphasized that this is necessary to ensure the transparent and targeted use of international assistance.”
Development of the European gauge and investment partners
Currently, intensive construction of railway infrastructure of European standards is underway in Ukraine as part of the development of the trans-European transport network (TEN-T) corridors. Modernization of border crossing points at the borders with Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania is also being carried out, which is expected to facilitate the integration of the country’s transport system with the European one.
The investment support for the development of the European gauge is provided by key international organizations. The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) provides grant funding under the EU program “Connecting Europe Facility” (CEF), while the European Investment Bank (EIB) provides loan support for the comprehensive implementation of projects.
