Leaders in Salary Levels in Kyiv

The highest incomes in Kyiv are traditionally demonstrated by the information and telecommunications sector. Here, the average salary in 2026 reached 100,703 UAH, significantly exceeding the national average of 85,673 UAH. Employees in the financial and insurance sector in the capital earn an average of 75,893 UAH. Public administration and defense provide salaries at the level of 65,364 UAH, while professional and scientific activities offer 53,433 UAH. At the same time, the agricultural, forestry, and fishing sectors surprisingly have high payments of 54,825 UAH, and the water supply sector offers 52,046 UAH.

Industries with the Lowest Salaries

The education sector remains among the lowest in terms of wages. The average salary of educators in Kyiv is 24,433 UAH, while in Ukraine it is only 19,394 UAH. Other sectors with the lowest incomes include construction (22,714 UAH), healthcare and social assistance (24,433 UAH), as well as food services and the hotel business (26,218 UAH). In the transportation and warehousing sector, the average earnings are 34,951 UAH, and in industry, they are 31,445 UAH.
