The state company “Ukrzaliznytsia” has announced the launch of a new train No. 209/210, which will operate between Mykolaiv and Ivano-Frankivsk starting in August 2025. Passengers will have access to compartment and open-plan carriages, and ticket sales will begin 10 days before the departure date.

Departure from Mykolaiv is scheduled for August 1. The train will run every other day on odd dates, departing at 15:54 and arriving in Ivano-Frankivsk at 12:32 the following day. The return trip from Ivano-Frankivsk starts on August 2, then on even dates at 13:05, arriving in Mykolaiv at 09:24 the next day.
The train’s route includes the following stations: Novyi Buh, Dolynska, named after Taras Shevchenko, Korsun, Bila Tserkva, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Lviv, and others, providing convenient access to major cities in Ukraine.
Opportunities for Residents of Kherson
Residents of Kherson can also take advantage of the new train by traveling to Mykolaiv on trains No. 319/320 (Kherson – Mykolaiv-Vantazhnyi), No. 101/102 (Kherson – Kramatorsk), and No. 109/110 (Kherson – Lviv) on the days the new route operates. For the return journey, trains No. 110/109 (Lviv – Kherson) and No. 320/319 (Mykolaiv-Vantazhnyi – Kherson) are available.
