Features of the New Cars

The first five cars from the total order will serve as a pilot batch representing a new generation of railway transport. These modernized cars will have an extended service life by 80%, state-of-the-art control systems, enhanced comfort for passengers, and increased capacity of up to 44 people in a compartment car. In comparison, this is 10% more than standard cars. Thanks to the use of stainless steel bodies, the service life of the cars will increase to 50 years, which exceeds standard indicators by 20 years.

Innovations and Expansion Plans

Among the one hundred new cars, five will be compartment cars with the possibility of transforming into SV class cars, and one will be inclusive, adapted for passengers with limited mobility. If additional funding is received from the state budget, the company plans to expand its rolling stock renewal program and increase the share of modern cars in its fleet.
