Recommendations for electricity use

Despite the favorable situation in the energy system, “Ukrenergo” recommends that citizens postpone energy-intensive activities to daytime hours – from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This will help reduce the load on the networks during evening peak hours.

Additionally, residents are advised to refrain from using high-power electrical appliances in the evening, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, to support the stability of the energy system.

Situation in Sumy region

As of the morning of May 2, part of the Sumy region remained without electricity due to shelling by the Russian Federation. Restoring electricity supply in these areas remains a priority for energy workers.

“On Sunday, May 3, no restrictions on electricity consumption are anticipated in Ukraine.”
