The Volume of Non-Residential Construction in Ukraine Increased by Over 36% in a Year

In Ukraine, a significant increase in construction work has been observed over the first seven months of the current year. According to official statistics, from January to July 2025, the volume of completed construction work reached 117.7 billion UAH, which is 16.1% more than in the same period of the previous year.

Growth Dynamics in Various Construction Segments

There was a notable increase in the building construction sector, where the volume of work rose by 27.7%. Particularly significant was the growth in non-residential construction, which increased by 36.4%. At the same time, residential construction also showed positive dynamics, rising by 12%.

Engineering construction grew by 8% during the reporting period. New construction accounted for 43.4% of the total volume of completed work, while repair work made up 29%, and reconstruction and other types accounted for 27.6%.

Construction Product Indices and Monthly Dynamics

The construction product index, which reflects the overall dynamics of the industry, increased by 10% compared to January-July of the previous year. In residential construction, the growth was 4.9%, in non-residential construction — 28.7%, and in engineering construction — 2.4%.

The data is provided without taking into account the temporarily occupied territories and areas where hostilities are (were) taking place.

In July 2025, the construction product index showed an increase of 44.5% compared to July of last year; however, there was a slight decrease of 2.8% compared to June.
