The State Will Compensate Up to 200 Million UAH for Destroyed Infrastructure of Industrial Parks

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is preparing to approve a new procedure for the use of state support funds for industrial parks in the near future. One of the key elements will be the implementation of an additional compensation program for infrastructure facilities damaged as a result of Russian shelling. The maximum compensation amount may reach 200 million hryvnias.

New Mechanisms of State Assistance

Vitaliy Kindraty, Deputy Minister of Economy, announced the details of this initiative during the Conference on Eco-Industrial Parks in Kyiv. According to him, the government plans to adopt the relevant procedure within one to two weeks. After that, enterprises that have suffered losses due to attacks from the Russian Federation will be able to submit applications for compensation to restore their infrastructure.

“We will soon release a new procedure for the use of funds, which will include an additional program for obtaining compensation for damaged infrastructure of industrial parks.

Vitaliy Kindraty noted that this is about the most prompt response: the state will compensate expenses for the restoration of facilities that were destroyed or damaged during the shelling. He expressed hope that the number of applications will not be significant, although there are already several examples of substantial losses that have prompted the development of this support tool.

Support for the Development of Industrial Parks

The Deputy Minister also emphasized that merely creating and registering an industrial park does not guarantee its effective operation. It is necessary to provide parks with quality management tools, attract residents, and create all conditions for development. That is why the government continues to work on support programs for the development and enhancement of the capabilities of industrial parks and managing companies.

Vitaliy Kindraty stressed that launching such a program in 2026 is one of the government’s priority tasks, which will contribute to further economic growth and the recovery of businesses affected by the war.
