Mass Power Outages in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy Regions

On the morning of December 30, a significant number of consumers in Chernihiv Oblast were left without electricity. A similar situation is observed in other regions, with towns in Kharkiv and Sumy Oblasts being fully or partially disconnected from power. Attacks on energy infrastructure have led to disruptions in electricity supply for residents of these areas.

“Ukrzaliznytsia” reported restrictions on several routes towards the Neplyuyeve station due to a lack of voltage in the network as a result of Russian shelling.

Changes in Suburban Train Schedules

Due to power supply disruptions in Sumy Oblast, “Ukrzaliznytsia” was forced to adjust the schedule of suburban trains. In particular, train No. 6542 now runs on the route Konotop – Tereshchenska instead of the usual Konotop – Neplyuyeve, while train No. 6543 operates from Tereshchenska to Konotop instead of Neplyuyeve – Konotop. The route changes have affected several connections, and passengers are advised to check for up-to-date information about trains in advance.

Authorities and energy companies are working to restore electricity supply in the affected regions, but the situation remains tense due to ongoing attacks.
