The foreign exchange market in Ukraine is experiencing an increase in the value of major foreign currencies. As of Tuesday, December 2, the dollar’s value against the hryvnia in banks has risen by 5 kopecks, reaching 42.50 hryvnias per dollar. Meanwhile, the average selling rate of the dollar in banks is 42.10 hryvnias.

The Euro is Also Showing Growth

The European currency has also appreciated. The average exchange rate of the euro to the hryvnia has increased by 18 kopecks, reaching 49.53 hryvnias per euro. Today, the euro can be sold in banks at a rate of 48.90 hryvnias.

“The dollar can be sold on average at a rate of 42.10 UAH, while the euro is at 48.90 UAH”.

Overview of Exchange Rates at Exchange Offices

In Ukraine’s currency exchange offices, the average cost of the dollar in the morning is 42.35 hryvnias per dollar, while the selling rate of the dollar is 42.27 hryvnias. Regarding the euro, the average rate at exchange points is 49.34 hryvnias per euro, while the selling rate of the European currency is 49.15 hryvnias.

Thus, at the beginning of December, there is a noticeable trend of increasing value for both the dollar and the euro in banks and exchange offices across Ukraine. Experts advise closely monitoring changes in the foreign exchange market to make informed financial decisions.
