Story of Rescue and Support
Retiree Mykola, after his car broke down in the center of Kyiv, received help from concerned citizens and the police, who towed the vehicle to a service station. This story caught the attention of Oleg Gorokhovsky. The businessman promised to gift the man a new car, and by April 15, he reported on the fulfillment of his promise. “Mykola Mykhailovych with his new car! I bought a Peugeot Landtrek in the ‘Fierce’ configuration (the engine is economical, fuel consumption will be like his Zhiguli, or even less). P.S. Thank you, Mykola, for the thermos with homemade eggs, stew, honey, and pike caviar; I will eat it all. An incredibly bright person!” — he wrote on Telegram.
Gorokhovsky also published a video of the moment the keys were handed over, where a happy Mykola received his new vehicle. After losing his wife and leaving his home in Donetsk, the man settled in the village of Hruska in the Kirovohrad region, where he found shelter in a relative’s empty house. He shares that kind people in his new village are helping him.
