Power supply disruptions have been recorded in the Chernihiv region as a result of yet another attack by Russian forces on local energy facilities. Several important infrastructure objects have been damaged due to the strikes.

According to the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, the main impact has been on the energy enterprises of the region. As a result, residents of Chernihiv and surrounding areas are experiencing power supply interruptions.
“The enemy’s attack continues. Energy facilities in Chernihiv region are under fire. Currently, there have been hits on several objects,” he noted.
Consequences for Local Residents
Disruptions in the energy systems have led to power supply failures both in Chernihiv and in the Chernihiv district. Authorities are working to address the consequences of the shelling and restore stable electricity supply for the population.
