Restoration of Electricity Supply Continues Around the Clock

Specialists are working in an intensified mode, eliminating the consequences of shelling and damage to the networks. All repair work is ongoing continuously, despite the challenging conditions and risks of new attacks.

“Restoration work on electricity supply continues without interruption,” the statement reads.

Causes of Outages and Call to Residents

The main reason for the power outages in Sumy region remains the destructive consequences of Russia’s armed aggression. For security reasons, representatives of energy companies do not disclose details of the damages or specific facilities that have been shelled. At the same time, energy workers urge residents of the region to understand the situation and follow safety instructions.

Earlier, as a result of an attack by Russian drones, a strike was carried out on trucks at a gas station in the Krolivets community of Sumy region. As a result of this incident, two trucks caught fire.
