Starting from April 27, new parking rules will be implemented in Kyiv at the municipal enterprise “Kyiv Transport Parking Service”. Updated hourly rates will come into effect, and a new payment format — a monthly subscription — will be introduced for residents of the capital who pay taxes to the city budget.

New Hourly Rates and Zoning
The cost of parking has become even more differentiated depending on the location. The price for one hour of parking depends on the zone:
- Zone I — 40 UAH/hour;
- Zone II — 30 UAH/hour;
- Zone III — 10 UAH/hour.
Additionally, the boundaries of parking zones in Kyiv have been updated. They are now defined by new road signs, so the final cost of parking will depend not only on the address but also on the active zone in which the parking lot is located.
Monthly Subscriptions: Who Can Use Them and How to Apply
The key innovation is the introduction of monthly parking subscriptions that can be obtained through the “Kyiv Digital” app. Only residents with tax status in Kyiv can purchase the subscription. The cost of the subscriptions is as follows:
- Zone III — 299 UAH/month;
- Zone II — 999 UAH/month;
- All City Zones — 1499 UAH/month.
To take advantage of this opportunity, users must confirm their official taxable income, property ownership, or registration as an individual entrepreneur through the app, or demonstrate tax payment as an employee or pensioner with income. Students can apply for a subscription only if they have official income.
“The subscription is linked to the vehicle number, and after registration, parking payments are automatically recorded for inspectors. There is no need to start parking separately each time. Up to two subscriptions can be issued for one payer.”
After confirming tax status through the app, users will be able to purchase a subscription. This will allow them to make payments without the need to start parking daily, and payment information will be automatically displayed for inspectors.
