The situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains tense

The enemy continues intensive offensive actions in the Pokrovsk direction — Russian troops launched 24 attacks, trying to advance near Bilytske, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udaine, Hryshyne, Myrnohrad, Novomykolaivka, and towards New Donbas. Three combat clashes in this section of the front are still ongoing.

“In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 24 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of the populated localities Bilytske, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udaine, Hryshyne, Myrnohrad, Novomykolaivka, and towards New Donbas. Additionally, the outskirts of Ivanivka, Dobropasove, Levadne, and Vyshneve were subjected to airstrikes. Currently, one clash is ongoing in this section of the front.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest along the entire stretch of the active front, which reaches 1200 km. The Ukrainian defense forces recently halted the advance of Russian troops in several directions near Hryshyne, Myrnohrad, and Tavriisk.

The commander of the 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade, Ruslan Habinet, previously reported that Ukrainian units continue to maintain control over certain areas of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in Donetsk region.

Military experts link the intensification of hostilities at the front to improved weather conditions, which contribute to the activation of offensive operations.
