The National Bank of Ukraine has determined the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against major foreign currencies for Thursday, May 14. According to updated data, the dollar has decreased by 1 kopeck, while the euro has dropped by 14 kopecks.

According to the regulator’s information, the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar will be 43.96 UAH per 1 USD. For comparison, on the previous banking day, May 13, this figure was 43.97 UAH per dollar. The official euro exchange rate is set at 51.50 UAH per 1 euro, while the day before, May 13, the rate was 51.64 UAH per euro.

Exchange Rate in the State Budget 2026
The Ukrainian government has already included in the draft state budget for 2026 an estimated average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar at 45.6 UAH per 1 dollar.
