The National Bank of Ukraine has established new official exchange rates for Wednesday, May 13. According to the published data, the hryvnia has changed its positions against the major world currencies.

  • The official exchange rate of the US dollar has increased by 2 kopecks and stands at 43.97 UAH (compared to 43.95 UAH on May 12).
  • The euro, on the contrary, has decreased by 8 kopecks and is at 51.64 UAH (against 51.72 UAH on May 12).

“The official exchange rates for Wednesday, May 13, will be: 1 US dollar — 43.97 UAH (43.95 UAH as of May 12); 1 euro — 51.64 UAH (51.72 UAH as of May 12)”.

Hryvnia Exchange Rate Forecast in the State Budget 2026

In the draft state budget for 2026, the government predicts that the average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar will reach 45.6 UAH per dollar. This calculation is taken into account when planning the main macroeconomic indicators of the country for the next year.

Thus, changes in the foreign exchange market affect not only the current situation but also the long-term financial forecasts for the Ukrainian economy.
