Exchange Rates of Major Currencies on March 17
- The official exchange rate of the US dollar is set at 44.08 hryvnias per dollar. For comparison, the previous day this figure was 44.13 hryvnias.
- The official exchange rate of the euro has decreased to 50.57 hryvnias per euro, down from 50.66 hryvnias on March 16.
Financial Forecasts for the Year
It is worth noting that the government has projected an average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar at 45.6 hryvnias per dollar in the state budget draft for 2026. This demonstrates a certain stability in the currency market, despite minor fluctuations in official rates over the past few days.
“The official exchange rates for Tuesday, March 17, will be: 1 US dollar – 44.08 UAH (44.13 UAH as of March 16); 1 euro – 50.57 UAH (50.66 UAH as of March 16).”
Thus, the strengthening of the hryvnia against major world currencies continues, creating certain preconditions for financial stability in the domestic market of Ukraine.
