NBU Raises Official Exchange Rate of Dollar and Euro: Current Rates as of December 1

The National Bank of Ukraine has adjusted the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against major foreign currencies. As of December 1, 2025, the US dollar has increased by 7 kopecks, setting the rate at 42.26 hryvnias per unit, according to the regulator’s official data.

Movement of Major Currency Rates

The euro is also showing an increase: its official rate has risen by 2 kopecks to 48.89 hryvnias. Meanwhile, the Polish zloty has experienced a slight decrease — its rate has dropped by 1 kopeck and currently stands at 11.53 hryvnias per unit of currency.

Currency Rates at Exchange Offices

In currency exchange offices, a somewhat different dynamic is observed. The US dollar is sold here at an average of 41.95 hryvnias, while it is bought at 42.45 hryvnias. As for the euro, the average buying rate is 48.75 hryvnias, and the selling rate is 49.15 hryvnias.

The official rate as of December 1 is set at 42.26 UAH per 1 dollar, according to data on the NBU website.
