National Bank Sets New Dollar and Euro Exchange Rates: Hryvnia Weakens Again

The National Bank of Ukraine has announced the official exchange rates for the dollar and euro for Friday, November 14. As a result of the changes in currency quotations, the hryvnia has depreciated against both major currencies.

Hryvnia Exchange Rate Against Dollar and Euro

The official exchange rate for the US dollar has been set at 42.06 hryvnias per dollar. Thus, compared to the previous value, the hryvnia has lost 2 kopecks.

Regarding the euro, the national currency has also shown a decline. The exchange rate for the euro on Thursday is fixed at 48.88 hryvnias per euro. This indicates a loss of 23 kopecks against the European currency.

“The exchange rate for the hryvnia against the euro is set at 48.88 UAH/EUR.”

Situation on the Interbank Market

As of 4:00 PM, the quotations on the interbank currency market of Ukraine were recorded as follows: the US dollar was trading at 42.04 – 42.07 hryvnias, while the euro was at 48.84 – 48.85 hryvnias. These figures indicate a moderate but steady weakening of the national currency against the backdrop of changes in global financial markets.
