The beginning of the month for spot Ethereum ETFs was marked by a rapid increase in capital. The largest inflow was recorded on May 1 — over $101 million. Then, on May 4, investors contributed another $61.29 million, and on May 5 — an additional $97.57 million. However, by May 6, the pace of investments slowed somewhat to $11.57 million, and on May 7, the sector experienced an outflow — investors withdrew $103.52 million. The following day, the funds returned to positive dynamics with an indicator of $3.57 million.

The altcoin ETF segment during this period showed mixed dynamics. The largest inflow among such funds was recorded in SOL-ETF — $39.23 million, as well as in XRP-ETF — $34.21 million. Other products, including LTC-ETF, DOT-ETF, and AVAX-ETF, did not show any capital movement during this period.

Overall, the American market for spot cryptocurrency ETFs in May continues to demonstrate a high level of investment attraction. In comparison, in April 2026, the total amount of funds attracted to spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs exceeded $2 billion.
