Large-Scale Project for Regional Development

The industrial park ‘Horokhiv’ has been established in the city of Horokhiv in the Lutsk district, covering an area of 13.87 hectares. It is expected that the implementation of the project will attract significant investments in the processing industry, stimulate the development of the industrial potential of Volyn, and contribute to the creation of approximately 690 new jobs.

The park will operate for 30 years, and its establishment was initiated by the Horokhiv City Council. It is planned to organize the processing of agricultural products, food production, warehouse logistics, wood processing, and the manufacture of wood and cork products on its territory.

Prospects and Funding

The industrial park also envisions the launch of production of fuel chips from agricultural waste, the development of textile and garment manufacturing, scientific and technical activities, as well as the operation of laboratories for independent certification of the quality of raw materials and finished products.

To equip the park, it is planned to attract nearly 1.58 billion UAH from various sources: funds from the local community, state incentives, as well as investments from future residents and other entities of the park.

“Volyn has a strong raw material base for wood processing, but the region still mainly exports unprocessed or minimally processed raw materials.
