A Golden Statue of Changpeng Zhao to Be Erected in Washington in Honor of Trump’s Pardon

A unique 14-foot golden statue of Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of the renowned cryptocurrency exchange Binance, will soon appear in the U.S. capital, Washington. This initiative is timed to coincide with Zhao’s recent pardon by U.S. President Donald Trump and aims to highlight the importance of his figure in the crypto community.

Project Details and Organizers

According to the organizer, who identifies himself as Nick Z, the monument will be installed near the U.S. Capitol and will be on public display for only a few hours. Afterward, the sculpture is planned to be handed over to Changpeng Zhao or auctioned off, with the proceeds directed to the non-profit educational project Giggle Academy. The entire initiative is funded by a group of four anonymous enthusiasts who allocated about $50,000 for its realization.

The statue took about four weeks to create. It was made using a CNC printer and dense foam blocks, and the figure itself is painted gold. The sculpture depicts Zhao with his characteristic gesture—four fingers raised, which has become a symbol of the fight against FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) in 2023.

Significance for the Crypto Community and Additional Initiatives

The organizing team also announced the launch of the meme coin CZSTATUE on the BNB Chain blockchain, further emphasizing the symbolic nature of the event for the cryptocurrency world.

“The installation of the statue was a response to the fake attacks against CZ, and his pardon by Trump only underscored the significance of the Binance founder’s figure for the community.”

It is worth noting that similar initiatives are not new to the U.S. In September 2025, a golden statue of Donald Trump holding a Bitcoin already attracted significant public attention.
