General Staff reports 152 combat clashes with Russian troops at the front

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to successfully repel the offensive actions of the Russian Federation in various areas of the front. According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the past day, the command recorded 152 combat clashes with Russian troops.

Tense situation in key directions

According to the General Staff’s report, the situation was particularly intense in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders managed to repel 23 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, as well as at the approaches to Novopavlivka and Shevchenko.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, one attack by the Russians was recorded, while in the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops eight times. Thirteen attacks occurred in both the Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka directions. In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out six assault actions, while in the Huliaipole direction, there were as many as 40 attacks. Two more combat clashes took place in the Orikhiv direction.

“In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 23 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and towards the settlements of Novopavlivka and Shevchenko,” the report states.

Operational situation and activity of Defense Forces

According to the General Staff, in the Kramatorsk, Kupiansk, and Dnipro directions, no offensive actions were conducted by the Russian army over the past day. Meanwhile, in the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian troops liberated nine settlements.

Military observer of the “Information Resistance” group, Kostiantyn Mashovets, reported that the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out counteroffensive actions in several areas near Huliaipole and Zaporizhzhia. According to him, Ukrainian soldiers pushed Russian formations out of several settlements around Pokrovsk in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Ternove in Zaporizhzhia, as well as to the north and west of Huliaipole and south of Zaporizhzhia. However, the General Staff has not yet commented on the information regarding these counteroffensive operations, noting that in the southern direction, the Russians themselves are trying to conduct active assaults.
