Contest Conditions and Prize Pool
The competition will last for four weeks — from September 15, 2025. Auditors from around the world are invited to participate. Only those participants whose submissions are deemed significant and meet the established criteria will receive rewards. After the contest concludes, all identified vulnerabilities will be verified and compiled into a separate report.
The contest is co-sponsored by Gnosis and Lido, who have funded the event with $100,000 and $25,000 respectively. To encourage participation, multipliers have been introduced: x2 for tickets submitted in the first week and x1.5 for the second week.
Goals of the Fusaka Update and Additional Rewards
“The goal of this audit is to identify vulnerabilities and prevent potential failures before the upgrade is deployed.”
The Fusaka fork includes a number of proposals for improving the Ethereum network (EIP), aimed at future scalability, enhancing the efficiency of smart contract execution, and strengthening the security of the blockchain.
Additionally, the Ethereum Foundation reminded about the ongoing official Bug Bounty program, which allows for rewards of up to $250,000 for discovering critical vulnerabilities or bugs that affect the operation of the entire Ethereum network.
The Fusaka update is expected to be implemented on the Ethereum mainnet in November 2025.
