Epstein Boasted in Emails About Meeting Musk and Zuckerberg at a ‘Wild Dinner’

The U.S. Department of Justice has released emails in which Jeffrey Epstein described his meeting with prominent figures in the tech industry — Mark Zuckerberg, Reid Hoffman, Elon Musk, and Peter Thiel. He characterized the event as a ‘wild dinner’.

Details About Epstein’s Meeting with Tech Leaders

In an email dated August 20, 2015, Epstein informed billionaire Tom Pritzker about plans for a trip to New York and mentioned a party with representatives from the tech business. However, the details of what transpired during this dinner remain unknown.

According to Vanity Fair, which first revealed the existence of this meeting back in 2019, the event took place in Palo Alto, California. The organizer was LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, who hosted the party in honor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology scientist Ed Boyden.

Participants’ Explanations and New Details from the Emails

Meta commented on the situation, referring to a statement made back in 2019. According to Zuckerberg’s spokesperson Ben Labolt, Mark Zuckerberg only met Epstein once by chance at this scientific dinner, which was not organized by Epstein.

“Mark only briefly met Epstein once at a dinner honoring scientists, which was not organized by Epstein,” said Zuckerberg’s spokesperson Ben Labolt at the time.

After this event, according to a representative from Meta, Zuckerberg had no further contact with Epstein. At the same time, Vanity Fair also noted that Musk allegedly introduced Zuckerberg to Epstein during the same dinner, although Elon Musk denied this.

Furthermore, new emails revealed that Epstein and Musk discussed the possibility of Musk visiting Little Saint James Island, which became infamous due to Epstein’s activities. However, Musk stated that he had repeatedly declined such invitations and advocates for complete transparency regarding the case materials.
