Housing Prices in Different Cities

The cost of housing in France varies depending on the city. For example, living in Paris or Nice typically requires significantly higher expenses than in Bordeaux or Lille. The average prices for apartments are as follows:

  • one-bedroom apartment in the city center: 760 euros (35,500 UAH);
  • one-bedroom apartment outside the city center: 600 euros (28,000 UAH).

Utilities such as water, electricity, heating, and garbage collection will cost approximately 150–200 euros (7,000–9,300 UAH) per month. Ukrainians arriving in France under support programs can take advantage of preferential rental conditions through government or charitable organizations. At the same time, it is important to remember that the search for housing should begin through local municipalities, and this process can take quite a bit of time.

Food and Healthcare Prices

Food prices in France are among the highest in the European Union:

  • milk (1 liter): 1.2 euros (56 UAH);
  • bread (baguette): 1.1–1.5 euros (51–70 UAH);
  • chicken fillet (1 kg): 10–12 euros (467–560 UAH);
  • apples (1 kg): 2–3 euros (93–140 UAH).
