From December 15 to 19, 2025, spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for Bitcoin and Ethereum experienced a significant capital outflow totaling over $1.1 billion. This data indicates a shift in investor sentiment in the cryptocurrency market.

Details of Capital Outflow from Bitcoin ETFs
During the reporting period, the spot Bitcoin ETF sector reduced its assets by $497.05 million. Negative capital movement was recorded in six major funds:
- IBIT — $240.32 million
- BITB — $115.21 million
- ARKB — $100.59 million
- HODL — $39.21 million
- GBTC — $27.51 million
- BTC — $7.37 million
At the same time, five funds (BTCO, EZBC, BRRR, BTCW, and DEFI) did not receive any investments, while FBTC recorded an inflow of $33.15 million.

Ethereum ETFs and Altcoin ETFs: Even Greater Outflow and Minimal Inflow
Ethereum-based exchange-traded funds also came under market pressure: the total outflow for the week amounted to $643.97 million. Six funds lost the following amounts:
- ETHA from BlackRock — $558.15 million
- ETHE from Grayscale — $32.36 million
- ETH from Grayscale — $17.29 million
- FETH from Fidelity — $16.72 million
- ETHW from Bitwise — $13.01 million
- ETHV from VanEck — $6.43 million
Meanwhile, EZET from Franklin Templeton, QETH from Invesco, and TETH from 21Shares did not receive any investment inflows.

In the altcoin ETF sectors, there was a moderate inflow of investments. Specifically, the total amount of inflows in XRP-ETF, Solana-ETF, and LINK-ETF reached $152.21 million. However, no new investments were recorded in DOGE-ETF, Litecoin-ETF, and HBAR-ETF.
Changes were also observed in the Hong Kong market: the outflow from Bitcoin ETFs was 8.98 BTC, while the inflow to Solana-ETF amounted to 1550 SOL.
