Ukrzaliznytsia Temporarily Limited Ticket Sales for Trains After January 21

“Ukrzaliznytsia” has announced a temporary suspension of ticket sales for a number of trains operating after January 21. The reason for this decision is the need for operational adjustments to the schedule due to the consequences of recent enemy attacks and changes in the railway infrastructure situation.

Schedule Adjustments Due to Security Situation

Railway workers are currently making technical changes to routes and train schedules. Special attention is being given to the railway section in Fastiv, which was affected by shelling, causing complications in transport movement. Certain changes to the routes are also being implemented for the safety of passengers and staff.

Resumption of Ticket Sales and Possible Delays

Ukrzaliznytsia has reported that new schedules will be formed by the end of the day on January 7. Accordingly, ticket sales for domestic trains will open at 8:00 AM, and for international flights – from 9:00 AM on January 8. The launch of the updated schedule is planned for January 22.

“The new schedules will be ready by the end of the day on January 7, and thus we will open sales on the morning of January 8: domestic flights – from 08:00, international flights – from 09:00. According to the updated schedules, Ukrainian trains will operate from January 22.”

The company also warned that until the updated schedule is implemented, train delays of 1–2 hours may occur, depending on the traffic load on the Fastiv section. Passengers are advised to take this information into account when planning their travels.
