The State Agency “PlayCity” has decided to revoke the licenses of two gambling organizers in Ukraine. The reason for this was the discovered connections of the companies with the aggressor state — Russia, both directly and through ultimate beneficiaries or indirectly.

Which Companies Lost Their Licenses and Why
Under the ban are LLC “Favorit Casino Company” and LLC “Favbet VIP Casino”. This led to the loss of the right to operate in the Ukrainian market for the brands Favbet Casino/Favbet Poker and Billionaire. The agency emphasized that such decisions are aimed at protecting national interests and preventing the influence of the aggressor state on the gambling sector.
“PlayCity” revoked the licenses for organizing and conducting gambling in gaming establishments from two companies: LLC “Favorit Casino Company” and LLC “Favbet VIP Casino,” the statement said.
Other Sanctions in the Gambling Industry
In addition, the state agency recently fined the gambling organizer LLC “All City Games” over 4.32 million UAH. The reason was a violation of legislative requirements in the gambling business.
Such steps by “PlayCity” indicate an increase in control over the gambling industry and the prevention of companies associated with the Russian Federation from entering the Ukrainian market.
