Strengthening Cooperation in Defense and Technology

The new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine also intends to expand cooperation with the U.S. in the area of arms procurement. In particular, this involves engaging the American side in the supply of Patriot air defense systems and the development of joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Ukraine is considering the possibility of building factories in the U.S. for the production of drones, which is expected to enhance the country’s defense capabilities and ensure the implementation of modern technologies on the battlefield.

“The idea is that we are indeed a strong nation – I believe this is one of the best examples in the world of a unified battlefield for testing technologies,” said the Prime Minister.

Svyrydenko’s Appointment as Prime Minister

On July 17, the Verkhovna Rada supported the personnel changes proposed by the President of Ukraine in the government. In particular, the deputies made the decision to appoint Yulia Svyrydenko as Prime Minister of Ukraine, which was an important step for further development of international cooperation and attracting financial assistance.
