Main specifications of Galaxy A27 5G
It is known that the Galaxy A27 5G will be equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset combined with 6 GB of RAM. This will make the device one of the most affordable models in the updated A series smartphone lineup. The leak also confirms that the new model will run on Android 16 and is likely to feature the proprietary One UI 8.5 interface.
Testing results and expected price
During testing in Geekbench, the smartphone scored 777 points in single-core mode and 1802 points in multi-core mode. Although these figures are lower than those of the Galaxy A26 model with the Exynos 1380 processor, analysts explain the difference by noting that the device is still in the early stages of testing, and the final performance may improve by the time of release.
The NanoReview platform states that the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is expected to match the Exynos 1380 in single-core tasks and slightly outperform it in multi-core tasks. The smartphone will be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, which is standard for modern budget models.
“The Galaxy A27 5G will be positioned one step below the recently released Galaxy A37 with the Exynos 1480 chip and the Galaxy A57 with the Exynos 1680 processor.”
So far, the specifications for the display and cameras remain unknown. However, considering the price increases for the older Galaxy A37 and A57 models compared to last year, experts predict a rise in the price of the new model as well. It is likely that the starting price of the Galaxy A27 5G will exceed 24,999 Indian Rupees (approximately $300), which is higher than the price of its predecessor, the Galaxy A26.
It is worth noting that earlier testing of the Galaxy A57 demonstrated its potential to become a bestseller among new Samsung devices, surpassing the Galaxy A37 in several parameters, although it is priced higher.
