An organized scheme for paid transfers of servicemen to the ‘Akhmat’ special unit has been uncovered within the ranks of the Russian army. The cost of such a ‘service’ starts at 500,000 rubles and directly depends on how far from the front line the new soldier will be stationed.

How the paid transfer scheme works
It is known that the command of ‘Akhmat’ sells the official opportunity for soldiers from other units to transfer to their unit. According to an agent of the ‘ATESH’ movement, who is close to this formation, leaders at all levels are involved in the scheme, including Apti Alaudinov. The further away the future service is from the combat line, the higher the transfer price.
‘ATESH’ notes that recently the rates for such transfers have significantly increased. The reason for this is attributed to the rising casualties among the armed forces of the Russian Federation. Russian soldiers are willing to pay substantial sums to avoid indefinite contracts in other units, as in ‘Akhmat’ the term of service on the front line is usually limited to a few years.
“People pay just to break free from their units. There, a contract is a sentence without a term. Here, you pay — and in a few years, you are free,” said an agent of ‘ATESH’.

The ‘ATESH’ movement points out that the commanders of ‘Akhmat’ are effectively profiting from the desire of Russian soldiers to avoid the most dangerous areas of the front and preserve their own lives.
