Awards for utility workers from across the country

In particular, 44 employees of utility services from Kyiv, Donetsk, Kherson, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions were presented with awards for their work.

“These are the people who repair networks every day, restore water, heating, and gas supply, work at our CHPs, eliminate the consequences of Russian strikes, and continue to ensure the livelihoods of cities and villages, including in frontline regions under constant shelling,” emphasized Svyrydenko.

Support for critical infrastructure during the war

The Prime Minister expressed special gratitude to utility workers from various regions who came to help restore networks and infrastructure in Kyiv. Thanks to their support, the capital was able to overcome the most challenging winter of the entire full-scale war.

She also highlighted the importance of the selfless work of utility workers for the stable functioning of communities even in the most difficult conditions.

Payments of 20,000 hryvnias to critical infrastructure workers who are addressing the consequences of Russian attacks began at the end of February as part of a state support program.
