Official Exchange Rate of the Dollar and Euro on March 20, 2026, in Ukraine

The National Bank of Ukraine has updated the official exchange rates for Friday, March 20, 2026. According to the new data, the dollar has risen by 7 kopecks compared to the previous day, standing at 43.96 UAH per 1 USD. Conversely, the euro has decreased by 2 kopecks and currently costs 50.50 UAH.

Current Exchange Rates in Banks and Exchange Offices

The average exchange rates in Ukrainian banks remain stable. According to one financial portal, the average buying and selling rate for the dollar in banks is 43.65 – 44.19 UAH, while for the euro it is 50.30 – 51.00 UAH.

  • US Dollar: 43.65 – 44.19 UAH (banks), 44.05 – 44.20 UAH (exchange offices).
  • Euro: 50.30 – 51.00 UAH (banks), 50.90 – 51.15 UAH (exchange offices).

In the cash market, exchange offices offer to buy the dollar for 44.05 UAH and sell it for 44.20 UAH. For the euro, the buying price is 50.90 UAH, and the selling price is 51.15 UAH.

Card Rates: Privatbank and Monobank

Clients of the largest banks in the country can use the following rates for card transactions:

  • Privatbank: dollar – 43.65–44.24 UAH, euro – 50.22–51.02 UAH;
  • Monobank: dollar – 43.69–44.23 UAH, euro – 50.31–51.01 UAH.

“In the draft state budget for 2026, the government sets the projected average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar at 45.6 UAH/$.”

Thus, fluctuations in the currency market remain minor, and the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against major world currencies demonstrates stability amid preparations for the 2026 budget.
