The Dutch government has announced the allocation of €55 million to the World Bank’s trust fund to support Ukraine’s reconstruction. Prime Minister Dick Schoof stated that Russian aggression poses a threat not only to Ukraine but also to other European countries. In particular, he highlighted the numerous violations of airspace and the rise of hybrid threats on the continent.

Netherlands Supports Ukraine and Condemns Russian Attacks
Prime Minister Schoof emphasized:
“The Netherlands, along with its allies, supports Ukraine in its fight for freedom and security, and condemns Russian strikes on civilian targets. It is necessary to strengthen sanctions against Russia”.
Infrastructure Reconstruction in Kyiv Region
In the Kyiv region, 80% of the facilities damaged by Russian attacks have already been restored. In total, this includes over 24,000 structures, among which are residential buildings, educational and medical institutions, as well as infrastructure facilities. Notable progress has been made in the city of Irpin, where 3,111 out of 3,860 affected structures have been repaired.
In Borodyanka, construction is underway for a nine-story residential building on the site of a destroyed apartment block. The new building will provide 105 apartments for residents who lost their homes due to the war. In total, over 600 out of 825 damaged facilities have already been restored in Borodyanka.
